Return / refund / cancellation DRAFT

1. Scope

This policy covers Starter / Standard / Premium packages and related paid SKUs on REVOLD Classifieds, plus cancellation of pending stub orders. Free Friday / free text listings have no fee and therefore no refund.

2. Packages (featured windows)

Prices and windows are shown on /classifieds/promote/. Legacy micro-SKUs may map into these packages in admin billing.

3. How payment works today (manual_stub)

1. You request a package (BillingStub / Promote) → order status pending, provider=manual_stub.
2. No card is charged automatically.
3. Ops/superadmin confirms payment out-of-band and mark-paid.
4. Only then does the featured window / entitlement start.

Until H-RC-PAY, do not expect automatic card capture, invoices from a processor, or subscription auto-renew.

4. Cancellation before mark-paid

• You may cancel a pending stub order by contacting us (see §8) before it is mark-paid.
• Cancelled pending orders are simply closed — nothing to refund because no online charge occurred.
• Free listings can be withdrawn per Rules / Ad Policy; no fee applies.

5. After mark-paid (paid packages)

Because payment is confirmed manually:

• Unused window: If entitlement was not activated or featured days have not started, we may cancel and arrange a full return of the amount you paid (method used for the manual payment) — [OPS + LAWYER].
• Partially used window: Best-effort pro-rata or credit toward another package at ops discretion — [LAWYER] for consumer rules.
• Fully used / substantially used: Generally no cash refund; abuse/fraud exceptions still apply.
• Service fault (our side): If we fail to deliver the purchased featured window due to our error, we will extend the window or refund — [OPS].

We do not invent chargeback flows for a non-existent card processor. If a future live processor ships under H-RC-PAY, counsel must refresh this section.

6. Free tier

Free text ads (always-on quota + Friday tape/PDF ritual) are $0. No refunds apply. Violations may lead to removal without “refund.”

7. No auto-renewal claim

Packages are one-time featured windows for the listed duration. This draft does not claim automatic renewal or recurring charges. Any future subscription product requires a new policy + H-RC-PAY.
